In 2025, many races (marathon, half-marathon, 10km, etc.) will take place in several towns in the department. For the occasion, Bordeaux news lists the main running races future.

The Saucats 10 km – February 16, 2025

This is one of the first dates to tick for runners. On Sunday February 16, 2025, the Saucats 10km will take place. In 2024, the event brought together more than 400 participants in the nearby town of Brède. The start of the race will be at 10 a.m.

Marathon of the 4 seasons – March 9, 2025

This is the first of five marathons of the year in Gironde. The third edition of the 4 seasons marathon in Arcachon will be held on Sunday March 9, 2025. Registrations are already open.

Semi-marathon Bazas-Langon – 9 mars 2025

Also on Sunday March 9, runners can join the towns of Bazas and Langon during the half-marathon. For ten days, the event has already been complete but a waiting list has been set up.

The 10 km of Saint-Médard-en-Jalles – March 16, 2025

On Sunday March 16, the 34th edition of the Saint-Médard-en-Jalles 10km will take place. Registrations are already open and after the success of the 2024 edition, places will be limited. 3500 participants maximum will be able to take part on the starting line.

The Lespar’Run – March 30, 2025

On Sunday March 30, runners will be able to choose between the 5 km, 10 km or the semi-marathon during the Lespar'Run in Lesparre-Médoc. A wide range of choices for running enthusiasts.

Run in Pyla – 13 avril 2015

Last year, more than 1000 people hit the roads during the third edition Run in Pyla. This year, the race should be held on Sunday April 13, 2025. Participants will be able to roam the streets in an idyllic setting on the Arcachon Bay.

Presqu’île Half Marathon – April 20, 2025

Still on the Arcachon Bay, the courageous can take part in the Presqu'île half-marathon on Sunday April 20 in Lège-Cap-Ferret. Registrations will open on January 1, 2025 at 9 a.m.

Marathon des 2 rives – May 4, 2025

Blaye wine marathon – May 10, 2025

The wine cruise – October 26, 2025

On October 26, the 22nd edition of the Brède wine cruise will take place with two races of 7km or 18km on the program for the most hardy. In 2024, the event welcomed more than 1 300 participants. A great success.
