Hockey Club Grenoble: two weekends to make history

Press release from Hockey Club

The Grenoble Hockey Club will attack 2025 with two crucial weekends at home, at the Reyniès-Bayard gymnasium. The Griffonnes from Nationale 1, their male counterparts from N2 and the young U16s registered for the French championships will need a lively audience to reach a milestone.

N1 Ladies: three matches to stay in the race (January 11-12)

After a perfect start – two clear victories against (4-0) and (7-2) – the Griffonnes climbed to 3rd place in the championship.
But everything remains to be done. At home, on January 11 and 12, they will have three decisive matches in a row:
– Saint-Étienne (Saturday at 4:15 p.m.): a derby that promises to be tense!
– Orléans (Saturday at 7:30 p.m.): a difficult match against the undefeated leader…
(Sunday at 2 p.m.): facing a relegated Elite team, led by Victoire Arnaud, player of the French team who played in the Olympics
of 2024…

This weekend will be a revelation for the Grenobloises, who are clearly playing spoilsport this season.

U16 and N2: the challenge of young people and the playoffs (January 18-19)

A week later, the Reyniès-Bayard gymnasium will once again be at the heart of the action with two major competitions.

The U16 boys will try to secure their place for the French Championship. They will play on Saturday against Charcot at 1 p.m. and at 3:10 p.m., then on
Sunday against Saint-Étienne at 11 a.m. and Montélimar at 2 p.m.

For their part, the men of the N2 will compete in the playoffs to reach the final round of promotion to Nationale 1. Semi-finals Saturday from 6:30 p.m.,
small final on Sunday (12 p.m.) and grand final at 3:10 p.m. After two frustrating failures in 2022 and 2023, Grenoble finally wants to break the curse and reach the next level.

The public, a key actor

For these two weekends, the support of the supporters will be essential. Whether to push the Griffonnes to stay at the top of the table, to encourage
our young U16s to qualify for the rest of the championship, or to help the men get their ticket for accession to national 1, Reyniès-
Bayard will have to become a real fortress!

See you on January 11, 12, 18 and 19 to write a new page in the history of HCG together!
