After the overwhelming victory of Stade Rennais against the Girondins de Bordeaux (4-1) in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France, Arnaud Kalimuendothe 22-year-old French international striker, wanted to send a message full of sympathy and respect towards the Bordeaux club and its supporters. “Hoping the best for this legendary Girondins club, their supporters and French football.”

Despite his team's big victory, Calimuendo showed great class by greeting the Girondins, a historic French football club. His message reflects exemplary fair play, beyond sporting rivalry.
