You may have encountered them in the streets of Lyon. After a first gathering on December 14 in the town hall sector, the cars decorated with light garlands made their return to the capital of Gaul.
A car rally at Place Bellecour
Passers-by were able to see them at Place Bellecour late in the evening of Saturday December 21.
This gathering was organized by seigneurlord, a car enthusiast on Tiktok. Aboard his black BMW, all decorated with garland, he led the troops to Place Bellecour. Cars, but also motorcycles, were parked near the metro exit.
Car enthusiasts were not disappointed. Clio RS, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen, there was something for everyone.
“At least some illuminations… Lyon, it’s so sad this year”
“At least some illuminations… Lyon, it’s so sad this year, almost no decorations and illuminations. It’s really shameful,” Vincent comments under our Facebook video, visibly happy with the gathering, but less happy with the decorations in the city.
“It’s illegal!” What does the prefect say? », calls out the Light Pollution Facebook page. To which Internet users responded: “Rabat joy” or even “a little cheerfulness doesn't hurt, stop the self-righteous for the holidays”… The Christmas atmosphere indeed.
