Fans of the national team still remember last November's thriller against Austria in Schaffhausen. In this suspenseful match, he only missed the positive result. But thanks to the 29-29 draw, Switzerland still has every chance of qualifying for EHF EURO 2026.
EURO qualification will continue already in mid-March with the “Turkish Week”. The national team will first meet Turkey in Diyarbarkir on Wednesday March 12 at 6:30 p.m. Four days later, on Sunday March 16 at 4 p.m., the return match will take place at WIN4 in Winterthur. In qualifying group 7, the Turks are expected to be the weakest opponent. The Swiss national team would therefore like to take four points from these two matches to be able to advance in the remote duel with Austria for second place in this group, which would in any case give the right to direct qualification for the Euro.
Just before Christmas, tickets for the match in Winterthur are available for pre-sale. They can now be purchased via the FSH's new online ticketing service, set up by the federation in collaboration with Ticketcorner, its long-standing partner.
