The ax fell this Monday, December 23, for Tours FC. After the cancellation of the Coupe de France match between FC Lorient and Tours, Saturday December 21, the FFF spoke out and announced the defeat on the green carpet of Ciel et Noir. The meeting was canceled for organizational reasons for the security service.
Tours FC “still hopes to play this meeting”
“The Commission held the Tours club responsible. The cancellation of the meeting is the direct consequence of a failure by the organizing club in terms of welcoming the public. The match was lost by penalty to Tours FC,” thus details a press release from the FFF.
A few hours later, the Indre-et-Loire club indicated in a press release its intention to contest the decision taken by the FFF. “In view of the elements in our possession, Tours FC has decided to appeal this decision and still hopes to play this long-awaited match against Lorient”, writes the TFC.
