Impressive images. This Sunday, December 22, in the afternoon, a snow storm occurred between Burgundy and Seine-et-. Temporarily covering the roadway of the A5 motorway with a pretty white coat with even, rare thing, a few lightning bolts piercing the sky.

Furthermore, this Sunday and Monday, Météo-France has placed Ain, Savoie, Haute-Savoie and Isère on alert orange snow-icebut also avalanches for three of these departments, while the winds blow strongly in the northwest of the country.

Motorists must demonstrate “great vigilance” on the roads, be equipped with winter tires and chains for access to certain mountain areas, while limiting travel to a “maximum”, recalled the Haute-Savoie prefecture in a press release.
