At the very end of the evening this Saturday, December 21, a double murder occurred in a grocery store in the town center of Seyne-sur-Mer, near Toulon in the Var. Two lifeless bodies, a 29-year-old man and an unidentified woman, were discovered in the back room of the business located on rue Marceau in the city center.
According to initial findings, the victims, shot in the head, were executed around 11 p.m. Detonations were reportedly heard shortly before the macabre discovery. The owner of the grocery store, originally from Marseille, had recently opened this business.
The prosecution and investigators from the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS) went to the scene to direct the investigations. The trail of a murder by an organized gang is favored.
According to our colleagues from BFM TV, a man was arrested in the Cité de la Beaucaire, in Toulon, in possession of ammunition.
The investigation continues to identify the woman and elucidate the circumstances of this tragedy.
