About the National Police Team
Since 1982, the national police have actively participated in supporting high-level French sport by supporting athletes in their dual sporting and professional careers. With 40 years of positive experience in integrating high-level athletes into its workforce, the national police wanted to intensify its commitment to contribute to the ambitions of French sport in the context of major events taking place in France, particularly in 2024. This desire was translated, in October 2022, by the signing of a framework agreement with the National Sports Agency providing a new framework in terms of recruitment, integration and retraining. 66 high-level athletes, women and men, all committed to performance and surpassing oneself in more than 20 Olympic, Paralympic and non-Olympic disciplines, have joined the national police.
