Every year, on May 9, Europe Day celebrates peace and unity in Europe, the anniversary of the “Schuman Declaration”. For the seventh consecutive year, Brest Métropole and the City of Brest are joining forces around a joint call for projects, in order to promote European citizenship, on the occasion of this day. The objective is to encourage the creation of innovative actions in their territories.
The objectives of the call for projects are multiple: to strengthen the feeling of belonging to Europe, to raise awareness among the general public of European issues, to make visible Europe's action in the territories and to encourage openness to intercultural, especially among the youngest.
The proposed activities must take place during the spring of 2025. They must also be supported by an association and/or an educational establishment or other non-profit structure. All these actions must take place on the territory of Brest metropolis.
A global envelope
The overall envelope for the call for projects is €12,000, distributed as follows: €8,000 for actions taking place in Brest and €4,000 for actions taking place in the mainland. Maximum grant of €3,000 per project and per structure.
The deadline for submitting applications is February 7, 2025. Jury for selection of applications: second half of February 2025. Application files can be downloaded from the website www.brest.fr.
