Football (Regional 1): AF Biars Bretenoux: a good point which feels good

It's a point snatched in the last moments of this final meeting before the break which does a lot of good.
After four games lost 1-0 in the last five matches, the Biarnais were finally rewarded for their efforts.
As in previous matches, coach Patrick Gauthier's players offered a very interesting performance this Saturday evening against a great Montauban team but unlike the last matches, it ended with an additional point which allows the AFBB to reach the break with seven points on the clock.
However, the task did not look easy on the field of a Montalbanese team which had, until then, been full at home this season (three matches, three victories). The start of the match was to the advantage of the Tarn-et-Garonnais who opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a rebound at the near post from local center forward Sangoi.
But as the minutes passed, the Biarnais showed themselves to be more and more enterprising and Adam El Oula came close to equalizing on two great chances (in the 14th and 17th minutes) on which the Montalbanese goalkeeper was impeccable.
The visiting striker finally found the net in the 21st minute. Well launched from deep, he deceived the Montalban goalkeeper with a lofted shot.
In the process, the Biarnais were very close to taking the advantage on a superb free kick nicely taken out with a tap by the Tarn-et-Garonnais goalkeeper. At the break, the two teams were tied at one goal.
The second period started again at the same pace between two teams moving forward. In the first quarter of this second act, the Biarnais had a new opportunity to take the advantage but Lacombe's header just missed.
At the hour mark, on a counter, Montauban took the lead again with a new goal from Sangoi. But the Biarnais were not discouraged and once again brought danger to the opposing goal. They were finally rewarded in the 94th minute.
In the last action of the match, a first strike was repelled by the Montalban defense, but the second strike from Edgard Lacombe allowed the Lotois to equalize. This good draw obtained by the AFBB rewarded a Biarnais team, which, once again, did not give up.
