The end-of-year holidays are approaching, and the Goya Museum offers a range of cultural activities for young and old, to discover with family or friends. A rich and varied program which promises unforgettable moments at the heart of art and creation.

From 3 years old, children can, accompanied by their loved ones, give free rein to their imagination by creating a unique greeting card to celebrate 2025. After careful observation of the works in the exhibition rooms, participants will join the workshop where all techniques – painting, collage, drawing – will be highlighted to make personalized cards.

Workshops offered: Tuesday 24, Friday 27, Tuesday 31 December and Thursday 2 January at 11 a.m. Friday January 3 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Duration: approximately 1 hour. Please note limited places: registration at reception or by telephone on 05 63 71 59 30.

For history and art lovers, guided tours of the permanent collections are planned for: Tuesday December 24, Friday December 27 and Sunday January 5 at 2:30 p.m. Monday December 30 at 10:30 a.m.

The temporary exhibition not to be missed

The works of Mariano Fortuny, master of “Visions of the Orient”, are available to you during guided tours: Thursday December 26 at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.; Tuesday December 31 and Thursday January 2 at 2:30 p.m. Saturday January 4 and Sunday January 5 at 11 a.m.

Please note that the museum will exceptionally close its doors at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, December 24 and 31 and will be closed on December 25 and January 1. In 2025, the Goya Museum adapts its opening hours: from September to June (excluding school holidays zone C): open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July, August and school holidays zone C: open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Annual closures: January 1, May 1, November 1 and December 25.
