It must be said that the Thouarsais did not really need to display all their talent on Saturday December 21 to overcome a La Rochelle team very weakened by absences, and quite worryingly weak.
As has often been the case since the start of the season, the Maritimes' opponents took the match from the right end and tried to quickly make the difference.
