For their third edition, the pingVR French championships were organized in Tours this Saturday, December 21. At the end of this final phase and after an intense day of competition, it was Karl Vast alias Seldon36 who won the competition. A first title for the number 1 seed who finished second in 2022.
At the end of a thrilling and hotly contested final (3-2), Karl Vast alias Seldon36licensed at CTT Déols, defeated Sébastien Colin alias Elessar, from AS Sarreguemines Table Tennis. A great victory after being down 2-0, which concluded a perfect day for the unfortunate finalist of the 2022 edition. Against Elessar, Seldon36 did not give up and always believed in the possibility of winning. It was finally at the end of an unbreathable decisive match that Karl Vast won to succeed Antonin Landreau – Anto, crowned in 2022 and 2023, and become the second French champion in the discipline.
Victorious for Baptiste Queva – Bichette19 in the small final (3-0), Steven Ferton – Goda49 completes the podium, while Julien Sylvain – Jujuvossafter his elimination against Elessar, managed to remain mobilized to win the consoling table synonymous with a bronze medal.
