Last stretch before Christmas! To start the festivities, and finalize the gifts, the federation of merchant associations in downtown (Facca) is organizing a festive event for families this Sunday, December 22 afternoon.

From 2 p.m., the activities orchestrated by Lili's Animation will invite Ajaccians, young and old, to try their luck in a great treasure hunt. “The departure will be on Place Marc-Marcangeli, in front of the Post Office with a 'crepe party'! explains Marina Fondacci, president of Facca. There will be riddles, some of the answers to which can be found in the windows of partner merchants.”

2,500 euros in vouchers

Several prizes are up for grabs, including eight vouchers of 250 euros and another of 500 euros for the big winner, to be spent at participating merchants. “We are trying to energize the city center and attract families with a festive event. On the eve of Christmas, vouchers are still interesting”underlines the president.

In addition to this treasure hunt, other points will liven up the day with a hot chocolate point at the Piazzetta with mascots, a Christmas carol karaoke at the media library, a selfie terminal at the U Borgo social center, a storytelling workshop Christmas in San Ruchellu or a Christmas card and makeup workshop at the bottom of Dr Stephanopoli street.

“The little train will be offered to children all afternoon and will be animated by mascots. It will make a loop between Place Foch, Rue Fesch and the station,” explains Marine Fondacci. To end this day, a major show will be given at 6 p.m. at Place Marc-Marcangeli.
