The branch of the Article 1 association intervened on Wednesday afternoon, for 2h30 at the Gustave-Eiffel high school, with three first year classes in order to help them in their choice of studies after the baccalaureate. After listening to testimonies from volunteers, professionals and students, about their course, the sixty students of STI2D (Science and technology of industry and sustainable development) divided into classes to participate in workshops. These made it possible to follow the journey of a fictional character, from his choice of orientation to his professional integration, in order to give students the keys to envision their future.

“My future is unclear”

Ethan and Chahine know the opportunities in their sector: “You can work in IT, in engineering or even in aeronautics. » But they don't yet know what to do. Axel confirms: “We know what specialties there are, but we hope to learn more today, to get our bearings. » Some, like Mathéo who believes that “ [s]our future is unclear”, therefore expected a lot from this intervention. When others know exactly what they want to do after the baccalaureate. “An animation school in ,” says Dorian, “a BTS or a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics,” adds Titouan, or even “preparation for an engineering school,” assures Mathis.

The desire of Juliette Lenoir, responsible for deployment and academic referent of the association, namely to involve the students, was in any case respected. They showed interest and involvement. Even if not everyone yet knows what direction to follow after the baccalaureate, it is clear that they already have some knowledge. They just have to make their choice!
