LOSC qualified for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France, after their victory at FC Rouen (0-1).
This Friday, at the opening of the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France, LOSC traveled to the pitch of FC Rouen, a National club. And the opening score did not take long to arrive, given that it came in the 21st minute, thanks to a first-intention left-footed recovery by Ismaily, after a nice delivery from Jonathan David. At the end of this first period, we could easily say that Lille could have worsened the score if it had been more realistic, with the opportunities from Bakker (6th, 45th), Sahraoui (10th), and David's post (45th+ 1).
The second period started again on the same basis, with several hot actions on the Lille side, and in particular a rather imprecise David (56th, 59th, 71st). In added time, Rouen saw red with the expulsion of Benzia, who threw the ball into Gudmudsson's head right in front of Ms. Frappart's eyes. Not really worried by their opponent, LOSC ensured the minimum, and qualified for the round of 16 of this Coupe de France.
