MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT AND DATA MANAGEMENT COLLABORATOR (60-80%)

The Swiss PS is committed to strengthening the purchasing power of the population, for equality and for climate protection. To do this, the Central Secretariat organizes voting and election campaigns, supports the cantonal parties, sections and other bodies and bodies of the PS. The Central Secretariat prepares party events and sets up training workshops. The Secretariat is both a hub and a leading point of contact for internal and external requests. It is organized in an agile way (holacracy).

The PS feeds and lives on the commitment of its members and contact with the population. This absolutely requires professional data processing and a future-oriented digital infrastructure. We need you to provide and develop this infrastructure, so that we can carry out intelligent campaigns and even better take sides for a united and ecological Switzerland.

For the attribution of this position, two distinct profiles are possible, namely a basic profile and a advanced profile – the latter including additional responsibilities.

Basic profile – your tasks:

  • You process changes in addresses, affiliations, functions, sections and other data, and you answer questions from members, sections and cantonal parties in this regard;
  • You carry out regular data cleaning tasks;
  • You organize training and workshops for employees of cantonal parties, you create documentary files and you respond to requests for assistance relating to member management.

Basic profile – what you bring:

  • You are very comfortable with computer tools and you have experience with a members database or similar applications. You are used to using the Office suite efficiently;
  • You demonstrate great alertness and you work reliably and efficiently;
  • Your idealism motivates you to work diligently, even when data processing cannot be automated;
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility, particularly with regard to data protection;
  • You know and share the objectives and values ​​of socialism;
  • You are able to communicate without problem in French and German, both orally and in writing.

Additional tasks falling into the advanced profile:

  • Handling more complex support requests;
  • Creation of templates and search filters in the Freemarker templating language;
  • Follow-up of contacts with Tocco, the member management software provider;
  • Participation in the conceptual development of membership management;

What you bring for the advanced profile:

  • You have extensive experience in IT and you are familiar with creating queries with SQL or a templating language like Freemarker. If so, you would be curious to get started;
  • You will benefit from significant initial experience in project management.
