A man aged around thirty was killed Thursday evening in (Drôme).

The victim was shot while in an elevator.

An investigation was opened by the Valencia public prosecutor’s office.

The victim was in an elevator on the ground floor of a building in Valencia when he was shot several times. Thursday evening, around 9:30 p.m., a man aged around 30 died after being hit by several bullet holes. When help arrived, it was too late.

According to Valence town hall, the man was known to the police. This, contacted by AFP, evokes a probable “settling of scores between rival gangs against a backdrop of drug trafficking”. “He was well known, we are involved in local drug trafficking”confirmed Denis Iglesias, head of the Alliance de la Drôme union, to Agence -Presse. According to him, the weapons used are Kalashnikov-type war weapons.

The perpetrator(s) of the shootings sought

The perpetrator or perpetrators of the shooting are still on the run. A vehicle, which could have been used in their escape, was found burned in another district of the city, police said.

Contacted by TF1info this Friday morning on this matter, the prosecution had not, at midday, responded to our requests.
