Saturday December 21, the Jean-Bouin room in Angers will host the 20th edition of Baby Basket Santaa sporting event aimed at children aged 5 to 7 from across the department. Nearly 700 young people will participate in sports workshops, supervised by 150 volunteers and supported by more than 2,000 spectators. A show inspired by the world of Georges Méliès will be presented at the Quai, Esplanade Jean-Claude Antonini, in Angers. “ M like Méliès » combines magic, theater and cinema to retrace the work of this pioneer of special effects. The performances will take place on Friday December 20, 2024 at 7 p.m., then Saturday December 21 and Sunday December 22 at 4 p.m. On stage, five performers play, sing and manipulate puppets and sets to evoke the ingenuity and inventiveness of Méliès.
