VinFast brand vehicles sold in Canada come with a basic warranty of 10 years or 200,000 kilometers and their battery with a 10-year warranty with unlimited mileage. In a press release published today, the Vietnamese manufacturer dangles these guarantees by affirming that they are the “most generous” in the electric vehicle segment.
Please note that in addition to these two guarantees, there is a 24/7 roadside assistance service.
In the press release, VinFast describes this commercial strategy as “a means to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Canada. »
“This measure addresses consumer concerns about long-term reliability, making electric vehicles a more attractive option and a safer investment,” explains the manufacturer.
This announcement comes as VinFast works to attract customers to its showrooms and make them aware of the two utility vehicles currently offered: the mid-size VF 8, on sale since 2023, and the 7-seater VF 9, including the first copies were delivered in November.
Still in its infancy in our market, this manufacturer sold 620 vehicles in the country at the end of the third quarter of this year. This represents a slight increase compared to the 414 vehicles delivered to Canadian motorists in 2023, according to statistics on the Government of Canada’s zero-emission vehicle incentive program.
