In order to develop agrivoltaism in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, TotalEnergies et Cereals develop their cooperation. As part of this partnership with Dijon Céréales, TotalEnergies will provide solutions agrivoltaïques adapted to the needs of each farm, we can read in a press release. A demonstrator to illustrate what an agrivoltaic project can bring

Since April 2020, TotalEnergies, Dijon Cereals et l’Alliance BFC work closely to develop solutions agrivoltaïques. The demonstrator of Channayinitiated in 2021, is an example of the cooperation established between the two actors. “This site, which has already welcomed more than 1,000 professional and institutional visitors, illustrates the benefits brought by vertical bifacial photovoltaic panels on the farmer’s land and crops” explain the partners.

“Strengthening the resilience of our agriculture”

“This partnership is meaningful and is part of a perpetual quest to adapt farms to climate and societal challenges. Our joint projects with TotalEnergies aim to strengthen the resilience of our agriculture while responding to the challenges of greener energy” explains Christophe Richardot, Managing Director, Dijon Céréales Group and Alliance BFC.
