The terminals set up in the streets serving Place d’Alger, in Le Mans, were installed for the first time in May 2023, according to information fromActu.fr. For more than a year, they have limited vehicle access during the nights of Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
But from this Friday, the terminals will be in service and will limit access to motorists every day, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The inhabitants of Le Mans, a town located in the Sarthe department, will therefore soon have to adapt their travel.
Feedback on this “very positive” measure, according to the mayor
Access to Place d’Alger, located in the city center of Le Mans, will not be possible for vehicles circulating in the town at night. It will, therefore, be “impossible to access the square via rue du Port and rue de la Halle aux toiles, via rue d’Arcole and rue d’Alger or even via rue du Docteur Leroy”, said the city’s mayor.
