This sport entered France 15 years ago by a club in Sannois (Val-d’Oise): All Star Cheerleading. It mixes gymnastics, dance and aerobatics. Each figure is repeated to perfection.
For the cheerleaders of the Ile-de-France club, it is above all necessary to avoid injuries. In four months, the All Star Cheerleading arrives in Florida (United States), for the world championship, where the French team finished fourth last May.
For its part, American cheerleading often dominates the competition. In the United States, this practice is instilled in elementary school. This sport even almost became Olympic. In France, with 5,700 licensees, its popularity grows every year.
