A few days after its victory in the championship against Girona (69-63) and less than 48 hours after that against Zaragoza in the championship (90-82 AD), Valencia continues to have great ambitions for all the competitions in which the champion of Spain is engaged. To achieve his goals, he strengthened himself by announcing the arrival of Leonie FIEBICH.

The 24-year-old German international winger, 1.92 m tall, returns to Europe after winning the WNBA title this summer with New York for what was only her first experience in the North American league. Elsewhere is part of the top 5 rookies, averaging 7.6 points and 3.2 rebounds.

In the meantime, the one who we saw having her first experience abroad with Charleville-Mézières in 2021-2022, had taken part in Euro 2024 and the Olympic Games with the National Mannschaft. She also already knows the Liga Endesa and the Euroleague well, which she discovered with Zaragoza, whose colors she wore since 2022 and until last spring.

Outside the Iberian Peninsula, Gran Canaria is making a comeback but not in the squad. Indeed, through a press release, the island club announced that its first team would once again be coached by Cesar ANEAS. The Catalan technician had to leave his position less than 2 weeks ago for personal reasons and the interim was then provided by Tony VIERA. It therefore seems that everything is back to normal for the person concerned.
