New work this summer

The work, which was launched in October, consists of renovating the Ring bridge passing over Boulevard Sylvain Dupuis. As a result, the lanes towards Zaventem are impacted.

The inner ring is closed and all traffic is transferred to the outer ring. Two lanes in each direction are maintained, but the speed is limited to 50 km/h. Which generates a lot of queues on the Brussels motorway.

Major disruptions for commuters between the Royal Park and the Palais de Justice: lines 92 and 93 interrupted from January… to October!

This summer, the work will continue: the construction site will be carried out on the outer Ring strips (towards Wallonia). Also with strong disruptions to fear.

These works in Anderlecht are in addition to other large-scale projects elsewhere on the Brussels ring road. In Vilvoorde, the renovation of the viaduct, launched in the summer of 2023, continues until… 2031, with narrowed lanes and a speed limit in the direction of Zaventem. In addition, the Leonard crossroads construction site has also fallen behind schedule. The Auderghem-Waterloo and Waterloo-Auderghem ramps will ultimately remain closed until April-May. Date on which the extensive work in the E411 tunnels should begin.

2025 like 2024 will be a dark year at the Leonard crossroads: here are the embarrassments that occur in the E411 tunnels between Brussels and Namur
