The information is signed Sud-Ouest –
A young nugget from Aviron Bayonnais would be tracked by three very big teams in the Top 14.
This nugget is winger Xan Mousquès.
The player, only 19 years old, is having an XXL start to the season with the Basque club.
Author of three tries in just three matches played with Bayonne since the start of the season, Xan Mousquès has attracted the attention of recruiters from several very large teams.
Anyone who is capable of playing both on the wing and at the back would be courted by Toulouse, Bordeaux-Bègles and Stade Rochelais.
At the end of his contract with Bayonne next June, Xan Mousquès therefore has a choice for his future.
To date, it is the Union Bordeaux-Bègles which would be in pole position to obtain the signature of the player.
He could replace Nans Ducuing and Ben Tapuai who will leave UBB next summer.
He would also replace Louis Bielle-Biarrey and Damian Penaud during international periods.
Xan Mousquès would also be very interested in the project presented to him by the UBB.
For its part, La Rochelle would like to recruit him to replace Brice Dulin, whose future still remains uncertain.
Toulouse is also interested since manager Ugo Mola would have been impressed by the young Bayonnais.
For its part, Bayonne should not fight to keep its young player.
Helmed by Cheikh Tiberghien, Yohan Orabé and Tom Spring at the back, or even Mateo Carreras, Arnaud Erbinartegaray and Nadir Megdoud on the wings, Xan Mousquès should therefore leave Bayonne next summer.
