HTV basketball: Last home match against Fos-sur-Mer to conclude the year
The Var club Hyères Toulon Var Basket will face Fos-sur-Mer this Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Palais des Sports Jauréguiberry in Toulon. A crucial meeting which will mark the end of a memorable year for HTV.
This Tuesday, December 17, we met Théo Lefebvre, leader and captain of the HTV Basket team. Confident, but cautious, he shared his impressions as he approaches this last home game of the year. Without revealing the strategies of the game, he underlined the importance of this match for the team and the supporters.
Théo Lefebvre perfectly embodies the competitive spirit of HTV. After an exceptional season, marked by a rise to Pro B, the team was able to surpass itself thanks to group dynamics and effective coaching.
At the head of this success: Jean-Louis Borg, the HTV coach. Arriving this season with his staff, the coach quickly knew how to make his mark and guide the team to the heights. His remarkable performance earned him his election.
This match against Fos-sur-Mer promises to be intense, the opportunity for HTV to conclude 2024 in style in front of its audience.

Info 83: How are you feeling ahead of the match against Fos-sur-Mer this Friday, December 20, 2024?
Théo Lefebvre: We are vengeful at the idea of making up for our last defeat (where they lost 94-60 against Blois) to show another face, and leave with victory.
Info 83: Fos-sur-Mer sometimes plays a fairly physical and fast game, how will you adjust your playing style to gain the advantage?
Théo Lefebvre: We will have to put our defense in place to impact them physically so as not to find themselves in difficulty, set the tempo in the match and follow the coach’s instructions.
Info 83: As a leader, what is your main personal objective for the end of the season?
Théo Lefebvre: It would be to stay with the club, in order to win the most matches and to be safe. As a competitor, seek the highest ranking possible.
Info 83: How would you describe the dynamic of your team at the moment?
Théo Lefebvre: Despite our defeats, we found our identity and our way of playing. After the international break, the team will be much better.
Info 83: A message for the fans who support you this season?
Théo Lefebvre: I hope the public will be with us for this last home match. We look forward to seeing many of you, and thank you for the support at each match.
