Seriously injured in the middle of August when he was supposed to play a significant role in Clermont Foot 63 this season, Marks Inchaud saw its beginnings in Ligue 2 be stopped dead by his broken ankle forcing him to rest for four months. Questioned by our colleagues from La Nouvelle République, the young man revealed among the Chamois Niortais recounts this painful moment to experience for any high-level athlete and announces that he is now back on his feet. All he probably lacks is the rhythm and confidence to once again be able to compete in an official match: “The first two weeks were very hard. The teammates and staff all helped me hold on. Injuries are unfortunately part of being a footballer. We can only take it and get back up. There was frustration. A lot of frustration, but that’s the job… Today, I did the hardest part. I started running and playing the ball again. I want to get back to my level from last year. I have to acclimatize with my teammates because I know them on a human level but not football-wise. »
