At the regional level, almost the entire educated population aged 10 and over masters the Arabic language, and the percentage of mastery of the French language is 47.9% in the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region, 60, 1% in the Souss-Massa region, 61.39% in the Rabat – Salé-Kénitra region, and 64.0% in the Casablanca-Settat region.

According to the linguistic expressions of Amazigh, Tashelhit is used by 14.2% of the population, followed by Tamazight by 7.4%, then Tarifit by 3.2%, while Queen la Hassania is used by 0.8 % of the Moroccan population.
At the regional level, the vast majority of the population uses the Moroccan dialect, with a percentage between 98.2% in the regions of Casablanca-Settat and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and 64.1% in the region of Draa-Tafilalet, more widespread in the region.
