Organized by the Pays de Saint-Malo Commerce Federation, the 1st Pays de Saint-Malo fair will take place on Quai Saint-Malo on January 31, February 1 and 2, 2025.
The idea came from Jacques Golivet, president of the Pays de Saint-Malo Commerce Federation for several years. “A fair facilitates meetings and exchanges between companies, customers, suppliers and partners for future collaborations,” he explains. “While there are always themed trade fairs in Saint-Malo, there has never been a fair,” adds Jacques Golivet. “And the Saint-Malo Trade Federation is now strong enough to organize one. »
Created in 1929, the Fédération du commerce du Pays de Saint-Malo today represents more than 1,400 members in 73 municipalities ranging from Tinténiac to Pleine-Fougères, Dinard, Pleurtuit. It is a network of more than 2,600 professionals, 15 commercial unions from very diverse sectors: catering, catering, clothing, crafts, real estate, home automation, shipyards, boating, etc. The Federation organizes a “Road show” every month to introduce a company to other traders and artisans.
More than 100 exhibitors
Jacques Golivet underlines that “this multi-activity fair will highlight the diversity and riches of our economy, including those of professional training with the presence of the Faculty of Trades, ITC, the Lycée La Providence, the Ecole police. In total, more than 100 exhibitors are expected in a space of 1,000 m2. Convivial times are planned, such as a concert by the Finistère group Six all on Friday January 31. Numerous events will take place on a central podium with six skippers, the Sailors of the race, Dinard Elégance, a Bol d’Or pilot. »
The organizers have also planned an associative center allowing associations in the disability and social integration sector to be represented.
