At the initiative of the festival committee, with the complicity of the village’s amateur artists, the festival will take over the market square and the neighboring streets of La Couronne from 4:30 p.m., for an afternoon and evening full of light, poetry and of conviviality.
The Christmas festivities will begin with a warm snack, accompanied by the sale of lanterns. Until 5:15 p.m., visitors will be able to collect the evening’s programs so they don’t miss any of the surprises that await them. Then, at 5:30 p.m., the lanterns will light up, marking the start of a magical stroll through the village.
Local artists
Along the streets, children and adults will discover live shows imagined and performed by local artists. Mélanie Bourger will delight young and old with her story readings. Monico and her accomplices will lead a workshop combining song and dance, inviting participants to let their creativity speak. Other volunteers will lend their voices to the poetry, offering moments of sweetness and emotion at the bend of an alley.
To conclude this unique evening, meet at 7 p.m. for Christmas soup offered by the holiday committee. A delicious and warm moment, perfect to end this celebration dedicated to sharing and magic.
When the lanterns go out and the voices quiet down, everyone will leave with stars in their eyes, and remembering the lights and smiles that illuminated La Couronne with such a special brilliance.
Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., market square. From 4:30 p.m., opening of the Crown Festival Committee refreshment bar offering hot drinks and snacks. The lanterns are on pre-sale, €3, at the pharmacy and at the Florentin bakery.
