Punch operation this Tuesday, in Suresnes. A few days before Christmas, a team of thugs targeted a mobile phone store. Around 11:30 a.m., a trio burst into the Bouygues Telecom store, Place du Général-Leclerc.
According to our information, they immediately displayed a handgun and a knife in order to keep staff and customers at bay. They were then given 25 cell phones before rushing outside without causing any casualties. They immediately jumped on a scooter and disappeared into the small streets of this shopping district. Their loot is estimated at more than 20,000 euros, according to a source close to the case.
Another robbery involving the same type of merchandise occurred a little over two weeks ago in the La Défense district. On Sunday, November 24, two men managed to steal around fifty iPhones from the store in the Quatre-Temps shopping center.
A police source then indicated that the mere threat of pulling out a weapon was enough to convince the employees of the Bouygues Telecom store not to play heroes. The duo also managed to escape with loot estimated at between 35,000 and 40,000 euros worth of phones.
