A road accident left a seriously injured person in Blaison-Saint-Sulpice, south east of (Maine-et-). The violent collision between two vehicles occurred around 8:30 p.m., Monday December 9, 2024.

A road accident took place on the evening of Monday December 9, 2024, in Maine-et-Loire. Firefighters and police were called to intervene around 8:30 p.m., in the town of Blaison-Saint-Sulpice, south east of Angers.

A violent shock

A violent collision occurred between two cars, at an intersection between departmental roads 128 and 751. One of the drivers, a 69-year-old man, was seriously injured. He was transported in critical condition to Angers University Hospital. His vital prognosis was guarded. He is still in hospital this Tuesday, December 10, under surveillance.

In the other car, the 41-year-old driver was also transported, in non-critical condition. Sixteen firefighters intervened, a Smur crew was on site.
