The father who kidnapped his children in November 2022 from Pont-Bochet school, in Thônex (GE) before being arrested in Fillinges (F), is now accused of attempted murder. According to the “Tribune de Genève”, this Genevan, suffering from personality disorders, rushed into a police roadblock on August 13. While he was the subject of an arrest warrant for failing to appear before the prosecutor, he was spotted in the canton of Vaud. Realizing that he was being followed by the police, he rushed onto the highway reaching 163 km/h instead of 60 km/h. In Perly (GE), he hit a police vehicle, endangering the lives of the officers. The latter filed a complaint. The man is accused of attempted murder by possible fraud.
Since his release in 2023, following the kidnapping of his children, he has been prohibited from approaching them. He was caught trying to film his son and daughter using a drone; to dress up to see them at promotions. But also to put a GPS on your ex’s car to follow his movements. For his lawyer, Me Nicola Meier, quoted by the Tribune, “he is an infinitely sad man who would do anything to get news of his children.” Note that the Genevan has a legal past which resurfaced in the context of the kidnapping affair. In this case: robbery leading to the death of the victim.
