The department's notebooks of grievances were presented in the form of a dramatized reading on Friday, December 6, in Carcassonne, at the initiative of the Economic, Social and Environmental Committee of Aude (CESE) and the Department of Aude . They are now available online.
They had been dormant within the Departmental Archives of Aude Marcel-Raynaud for almost 5 years. The notebooks of grievances, made available to citizens in town halls in response to the Yellow Vest social movement in 2019, were shared for the first time to the public, Friday December 6, at the Hôtel du Département, in the presence of Hélène Sandragné, the president of the Department.
The Economic, Social and Environmental Committee (CESE) of Aude indeed wanted to return the contributions of the citizens of the department to as many people as possible. For this, he chose an artistic form with a theatrical reading of extracts entrusted to artists from Aude, entitled Notebooks of Grievances, Dreams and popular requests.
In Aude, more than 2,000 contributors participated in the development of 95 notebooks, which have since been handed over to the prefecture and then archived as required by law. These anonymized grievance books are now available online on the Department's website since December 6.
