During this session of the Standing Commission, elected officials particularly approved the various subsidies paid to municipalities in connection with the system to support investment in the territories. In total, this represents an overall budget of €3,101,520. No fewer than 70 projects are affected by this support, which is capped at €100,000. Finally, still with the aim of supporting the attractiveness and balance of territories, various subsidies linked to tourism development have been validated for a total amount reaching €12,596.
Supporting the most precarious towards employment and housing
In this area, note a set of several grants reaching a total of €73,701. These were directed towards integration actions intended to support RSA beneficiaries. In its “Anjou 2023” mandate project, the Department has in fact reaffirmed its priority given to access to sustainable employment for these beneficiaries, with the stated desire to implement personalized actions and support.
Taking action to age well and cope better with your disability
In order to financially support the home help and support service (SAAD) “Au Sablier Service” located in the Saumur region, exceptional aid of €30,000 was validated by elected officials. Same favorable vote, this time for €22,500, in favor of ADAPEI 49, the departmental association of parents and friends of people with mental disabilities. This sum will be used to help finance the Disability Support and Resources Center (PARH). In 2023, this specialized structure worked with 57 families in Maine-et-Loire.
Supporting youth for educational and sporting success
During this session, various subsidies dedicated to the sports sector were validated by elected officials for a total sum of €113,810. 29 projects centered around the themes of health and citizenship will particularly benefit from this support. On the education side, there is also an exceptional additional grant of €78,000. The latter will make it possible to cover part of the energy expenses of twelve public colleges over the year 2024.
Strengthening culture and heritage as a vector of social bond
In order to support the dissemination of culture in Maine-et-Loire, the members of this Permanent Commission awarded various grants for a total amount of €92,337. These sums will be used in particular to help libraries, promote residencies and exhibitions of contemporary art in the region, but also to support projects linked to live performance and literature.
Succeeding in the ecological and energy transition, acting for quality water and food
As part of the “2022-2027 Biodiversity Plan” adopted by elected officials in March 2022, an important component is devoted to the creation and restoration of ponds. The objective is in particular to preserve or enhance the biodiversity present in these ponds. In order to financially support nearly a hundred operations carried out by different partners, a total budget of €179,400 was voted by the members of this Permanent Commission. Finally, two other large-scale grants validated in this context should also be noted: €15,400 for France Nature Environnement for the participatory inventory of remarkable trees in Anjou and €50,000 for the Departmental Federation of Defense Groups Against Organisms. pests of Maine-et-Loire (FDGDON49).
