You may have found the door closed when taking your children to school this morning in the Somme. A massive strike by civil servants is seriously disrupting schools in the department. According to the SNUIPP union in the Somme, 7 out of 10 teachers are on strike today. Several municipalities in Amiénois are setting up a minimum reception service for children. However, some schools such as Mézerolles remain closed due to lack of available staff.
