The top 10 on Spotify being only made up of French-speaking rappers, it is not surprising to find several appearing in the top 5 of the competing platform, such as PLK (4th and 3rd) and Gazo (6th and 4th). Tiakola, SDM, GIMS, Dadju and Damso complete a ranking that is ultimately quite similar to that of last year.
The two platforms also agree on their top 4 most listened to songs in 2024, namely, in order, Little genius de Jungell, Imagine from Carbonne, Spider of Gims and Beautiful Things by Benson Boone. Internationally, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Daft Punk, GIMS and Ofenbach are the most listened to French artists, with Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake and Billie Eilish appearing in the first five places in the overall ranking.
