Always passionate about animals, the young woman decided to enter the agricultural sector, far from her university studies in business. All alone, 4 years ago, she created the Domaine de l'Arche, an educational farm in Dominois, where she offers a second chance to more than 200 animals.
A tough profession, often unknown and devalued:“We don't have much rest, we work almost 7 days a week. In winter, it's cold, it rains, but we have to still go and take care of the animals. When I think about it, I care more about the animals than myself”

And this does not mean that the young woman forgets her femininity, quite the contrary: “Even if we have mud on our boots, we don't forget to be feminine. I like to take care of myself, get ready, look pretty, the two are not at all incompatible”. Beyond coquetry, she especially wants to recall the lack of recognition and consideration that women face in the profession.
We always say that as women, we don't have strong enough shoulders to run a farm.
Amandine Delaplace, candidate for Miss France Agricole
With this competition, she wants above all to make it clear that agriculture is not just for men. “We always say that as women, we don't have strong enough shoulders to run a farm. It's really important to me to show that we can be as strong physically as morally while remaining feminine. If I take down this scarf, I can put the “i”s straight.”
An objective that she wishes to achieve thanks to this competition in which she is participating for the 3rd time: “If I win, I will try to highlight the agriculture of my region of which I am so proud”.
The name of Miss France Agricole 2024 will be revealed on December 14. The winner of the competition will represent France at the Salon de l'Agriculture.
