The weekend promises to be full of activities in the north of the Oise. Here is the editorial selection of releases.
1 In Breteuil: Christmas festivities
This Saturday, Breteuil-sur-Noye launches its Christmas festivities with a very rich program.
Local Saturdays usually take place on the first Saturday of the month, in the morning.
During this festive season,
the market will be open exceptionally all afternoon.
Thus, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., on the square in front of town hall, several producers and artisans will present their most beautiful creations,
but also delicious gourmet products and many gift ideas off the beaten track.
Another event not to be missed, whether you are a child or have simply kept your child's soul: the presence of Santa Claus in the afternoon.
He has in fact planned to stop in the town to meet his young fans who will not fail to be photographed alongside him by their parents.
Another surprise awaits the youngest. They will indeed be able to have their makeup done on a dedicated stand.
It’s up to them to choose their favorite makeup from several themes.
“Thunder of Light”, such is the name of the entertainment announced as “spectacular” by the municipality.
The public will admire this light and musical parade at their leisure, in the streets of the town, from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. then from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.
After the light parade, time for the official launch Christmas lights, at 5 p.m.. They will accompany residents and visitors throughout the festive period, from nightfall.
Adding magic to the magic of this launch day, the Christmas choir will sing its most beautiful songs, from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
The next day, Christmas concert by the Breteuil Harmony Orchestra and the Clermontois Choir, at 5 p.m., at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church. Reservation required on the website www.ville-breteuil.fr or by telephone on 06 80 10 07 60.
2 In Breteuil: a conference on local heritage
For some time now, the heritage of the Oise Picardy community of communes has given rise to research, commune by commune. Churches, religious furniture, cemeteries, castles, farms, barns, wells, ponds are thus scrutinized.
On Saturday December 7, Lucile Chamignon, researcher at the Hauts-de-France heritage inventory service, will present, during a conference, the results obtained for the villages of the former canton of Breteuil-sur-Noye , except for the capital.
To complete the conference, an exhibition will be visible in the forum hall.
The public will be able to discover the municipalities previously inventoried by the researcher.

3 In Fontenay-Torcy: an exhibition of nativity scenes and a concert
The Culture and Heritage Association of Fontenay Torcy usually holds an exhibition of nativity scenes. It will take place Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sure, you've seen a lot of nativity scenes, but there are some new ones; It’s up to you to find which ones! To help you, they come from Sicily, Bosnia, Germany and also France. Some were also made by members of the association.
Still to stay in tradition, there will be a concert given by the group Altéa at 8 p.m. Please note, this concert is organized by the CCPV,

4 In Abbeville-Saint-Lucien: a Christmas market

8 In Crèvecœur-le-Grand: Christmas village
