In 1965, on the occasion of the criterium tour in Brittany, Felice Gimondi, the brand new winner of the Tour de France accompanied by Arnold Pambianco, winner of the 1961 Giro, stopped at the Plouguernével restaurant run at the time by Mr. and Mrs. Leparc. I was there with my father and I was the first to recognize the great champion. A moment immortalized by a photo and an unforgettable memory.

The native of Plouguernével Jean Le Dilly won the Grand Prix De Plouay in 1935. In 1936, he was again on the 3rd step of the podium. His brother Yves was also a cyclist.
