The leading industrial sector in Vendée, the agri-food industry represents 25% of jobs in the department, particularly in the meat-poultry-fish, bakery-pastry and prepared meals sectors. Thus, faced with constant needs for skills and personnel, the Adecco agency, specialist in employment solutions, is recruiting four hundred people for missions in processing, packaging and packaging. Operators driving automated lines, order pickers and even slaughterhouse and meat cutting workers are particularly sought after.

A training plan put in place
The positions offered are temporary, fixed-term, temporary permanent and permanent in employment areas ranging from La Roche-sur-Yon to Herbiers via Challans, Fontenay-le-Comte and Montaigu. “The agri-food sector still suffers from a caricatured image. However, it offers attractive prospects for all profiles, whether experienced or retraining,” explains Isabelle Guequière, regional director at Adecco.
