A project economic large-scale project which should create between 3,000 and 5,000 local jobs.

The Rungis international market (Val-de-) will soon have an annex in Val-d'Oise.

It is aboutAgoralimlocated straddling several municipalities, part of which is in .

Ambition

Agoralim is multi-site, not only in the Triangle de Gonesse. Gonesse will not be the strongest site. But, alongside the international school city of excellence, we will have a pool of jobs.

Even if for him, “the contours of the project are still a little vague”.

We want to install in the department a sustainable system for promoting fresh food products, whether from production to processing, including distribution. This will offer strong prospects for economic and social development at the local level.

The project will extend over 60 hectares of land dedicated to production, sale and the transportation of foodstuffs foodin four different cities:

, Bonneuil-en-, Roissy-en-France and Gonesse.

We will anticipate the future increase in demand for fresh products in this area which is experiencing strong demographic dynamism.

Indeed, the Val-d'Oise is the youngest department of metropolitan France, although it is the least populated in Île-de-France.

Projet territorial

Friday October 4, the prefect of Val-d'Oise signed the decree qualifying the project Agoralim in Goussainville as a project of general interest (Pig).

This provides for the creation of a platform for distribution food between farmers and restaurateurs.

The opening of the 130,000 m site2 of surface area over 27 hectares is planned for 2027.

This new place of commerce wholesale must generate 1,500 jobs.

Agoralim is a territorial project in response to three main challenges:

Consumer expectations for better food ;

Security of supply eating of Île-de-France facing increasing demand;

The challenge environmental linked to logistics.

What we want to do with Agoralim is a project with several sites, which covers the entire chain, from production to distribution through processing. It will extend in total over 60 to 100 hectares dedicated to the production, sale and transportation of foodstuffs.

In addition, Semmaris also plans to host a demonstrator agricolethat is to say of a space ofagriculture diversified of around a hundred hectares.

The developer also has the idea of develop space towards agroecological market gardening production.

My project is environmentally friendly. I am capable of demonstrating it,” tries to reassure Stéphane Layani. “We will take care to artificialize the soil as little as possible. Our objective is for the southern zone of the Triangle de Gonesse to be as agricultural as possible.

Five themes emerged from this process.

L’agriculture and the agri-food sector aim to support the “transition towards a agriculture reasoned and nourishing and the promotion of products to facilitate the population's access to a food local and quality”, this is the first priority.

In second place: local logistics and durable.

Some priorities

This should make it possible to develop the means of distribution for a logistics optimized, high performance environmental.

Third axis and least important: eating well which should give access to a food local, sustainable and quality while raising citizens' awareness of the links between food, health et environment.

Employment and training are obviously part of the themes of work :

Agoralim aims to support the development ofjob locally, particularly in the food, agriculture and logistics sectors through the creation of innovative solutions formation and professional retraining.

Agoralim is a complementary project to the Rungis Market, both geographically – because it will allow a better distribution of flows – and functionally – thanks to the development of new activities, particularly agricultural. It is also about capitalizing on the historic agricultural potential of the north of the Ile-de-France region while anticipating the future increase in demand for fresh products in this area which is experiencing strong demographic dynamism.
