After Valence, Rungis, St Leu and Colmar, the Coupe de France bouldering settled in Chaumont last weekend, for a final stage dedicated to young people. This competition brought together more than 350 climbers from all over France, who competed in the U16, U18 and U20 categories.
Among the U16 girls, it is Naelle Rouffange who wins this last round of the season. Already first during qualifying, she retained pole position in the final by completing four blocks in 7 attempts. At the end of a more robust finish, it is Esteban Tournus which wins among the boys, with two blocks on sight.
The final was even tougher for the U18s! It only took one top Emma Large et Adrien Bremond Poteau to climb to the top of the podium.
Finally among the U20s, Philomène Reybet Degat won the best medal by being the only climber to complete two blocks in the final. In men, it is Mathis Chappe who won, with two blocks in 5 tries.
