Defense – For ten days, the DGA Missile Tests will have carte blanche to fire near the Biscarrosse lake, closed to the public for the occasion
This Monday, the DGA (Directorate General for Armaments) Missile Tests begins its first tests of measurement means as part of meteorological studies. The site, located in Biscarrosse (Landes), will carry out its operations until December 13. The town hall alerted its residents that an exclusion zone had been set up at the Biscarrosse water body for the duration of the tests, reports the site Actu.fr.
From today, residents near Biscarrosse may see unusual phenomena if they look towards the clouds. “Green emissions in the sky, visible from very far away,” specifies the town hall, which also assures that “these tests present no danger to the population.”

The shootings will be carried out between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on December 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 12. A map of the exclusion zone (…) Read more on 20minutes
