In municipalities located in the agglomeration of Lorient (Morbihan), the collection of trash cans is no longer carried out in the morning since November 18, 2024. Explanations on this change for your waste.
How was it before?
Until now, home trash collection was carried out between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the municipalities of Ploemeur et Queven. This is no longer the case since November 18 and until further notice.
Collection is now assured in the afternoon, between 13 h and 20 h.
Why has the collection time changed?
As explained by Lorient agglomeration, “adjustments can be made during the year to the circuits carried out by dump trucks”.
These adjustments may result in a change to bin collection times.
To avoid any disappointment, the agglomeration asks residents to take out the trash the evening before collection day and collect them once they are emptied.
Residents are asked not to leave bins on public roads outside of collection days.
