From Seine-Saint-Denis to Samaritaine. Justine Piluso, former candidate for the show Top Chef in 2020 at the head of the restaurant 15 Porte de gauche in Saint-Ouen, opens Bouillante!, a pasta barin this emblematic department store in Paris.

What Justine Piluso's pasta bar offers

The restaurant aims to be “gourmet and comforting for winter”, with menus based on seasonal products. Justine Piluso offers a soup as a starter or a “bruschetta”, a small bruschetta on baguette bread, to awaken the taste buds.

Customers must then compose their dish with a type of pasta of their choice – linguine, fusilli or others -, four different sauces and a topping such as nuts, parmesan or fresh herbs. They can finish with a dose of sweetness for dessert, thanks to a tiramisu or a cake of the moment.

The chef went through the Jean Drouant School in Paris, then the Paul Bocuse Institute in before opening her own restaurant, Le Cappiello, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, which is now closed.

Bouillante à la Samaritaine – Rivoli Building, 1st floor – Tuesday to Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
