Throughout this month of December 2024many Christmas markets are organized in the towns and villages of the Jura. Here are the next meetings. So many opportunities to stock up on ideas for gifts and decorations

  • SATURDAY NOVEMBER 30, SUNDAY 1ISSATURDAY 7 AND SUNDAY 8 DECEMBER 2024

Arc-et-Senans (). THE Royal Saltworks. 10 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Meeting with Santa Claus, carriage ride.

  • SATURDAY NOVEMBER 30, SUNDAY 1IS DECEMBER 2024

Baume-les-Messieurs. At the Abbey. From 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. 50 exhibitors. Organized by the town hall with associations. Free.

Lons-le-Saunier. Main hall. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Organized by The Little Sisters of the Poor.

Plainoiseau. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Organized by the association Children of the Lotus. All proceeds will be donated to those most in need. Musical entertainment, catering, mulled wine.

Salins-les-Bains. Allée Marcoux at Place des Salines. From 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, with 60 exhibitors. Organized by My Production. Free.

Often. At the village hall. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. With 35 exhibitors. Visit from Santa Claus on Sunday at 3 p.m. Sale of Christmas trees. Mulled wine, hot chocolate, drinks, sandwiches, waffles. Organized by the Souvans Entertainment and Leisure Committee. Free.

Arbois. From 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the small square. The group Burkina Faso will be present at 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m. Bar and small restaurant. The objective is to highlight local talent with around thirty exhibitors. Free.

La Chaumusse. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the village hall. More than 25 exhibitors will be present and several events are planned. 3 p.m.: storytelling. Treasure huntphoto shoot with Santa Claus. Santa's mailbox will be present. Esprit Fût concert at 5 p.m. Makeup. Organized by The forest of elves.

Saint-Claude. From 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Christmas market at the Residence du Mont-Bayardmultipurpose room, level 0. Sale of decorations, snacks (crepes, hot chocolate, coffee, etc.).

Sirod. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., village hall. With around twenty exhibitors. Free.

Villeneuve-sous-Pymont. From 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the village hall, Place de la Mairie, with 40 exhibitors. Chestnuts, waffles, refreshment bar. Organized by the festival committee Pymont Amuse. Free.

  • SUNDAY 1IS DECEMBER 2024

Augisey. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the rural home. 20 exhibitors. Refreshment bar and meals on site. Sale of trees by reservation. Raffle. Photos of children and families in a pretty Christmas setting. Free.

La Marre. Organized by the rural center. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the village hall. Santa’s presence from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Parcey. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the village hall. Presence of Santa Claus. Tombola.

Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the sports hall. With 40 exhibitors. Local artisans, refreshment bar, catering. Organized by Coop Grandvallière.

Sampans. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the village hall. For the benefit of the Telethon. Free.

  • FRIDAY 6, SATURDAY 7 AND SUNDAY 8 DECEMBER 2024

. National Square. Open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Montmorot. At the agricultural high school. From 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. Local producers' market, with a thirty exhibitors.

Saint-Amour. Oasis Christmas sale at the Victor-Hugo room. Toys, games, Christmas decorations, trees, selection of gifts, beautiful books, comics, vinyls, flea market… Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hot drinks, pastries.

  • FRIDAY DECEMBER 6, 2024

Cramans. From 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the school yard and in the street. With 30 exhibitors. Schoolchildren's song, coming from Santa Claus. Refreshment bar and tartiflette by reservation (06 88 02 24 08). Organized by the Val d’Amour Parents’ Association. Free.

Étrepigney. At school. From 5:30 p.m.

Moirans-en-Montagne. From 4:30 p.m., Grenette hall at the town hall, show, refreshment bar, original creations. The opportunity to discover unique objects for Christmas decoration and original gifts. Organized by theSaint-Joseph school.

Montmorot. From 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the agricultural high school. Local producers' market organized by the high school and the Chamber of Agriculture.

  • SATURDAY DECEMBER 7 AND SUNDAY DECEMBER 8, 2024

Arlay. On the Cartaux Bougaud estate.

Bletterans. At the covered market. From 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Presence of 60 exhibitors. Organized by the Commercial and Artisanal Union.

Lons-le-Saunier. Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. downtown, with 40 exhibitors. On the program. Saturday different shows throughout the day (brass band, waders, magic, music…), Sunday musique throughout the day. On both days, presence of Santa Claus and entertainment at the bottom of the square. Organized by the City and My prod.

Miéry. In the multipurpose room and in the parking lot. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. With 25 exhibitors. Warm chestnuts, pancakes, Santa Claus, photos and distribution of sweets. Organized by the association of 3 fountains. Free.

Villette-les-Dole. At the village hall. Flavor market organized by the festival committee.

Beaufort-Orbagna. In the multipurpose room. Meals on site or to take away (adult meal/€15 – child meal/€10). Reservations before December 3, 2024 on 06 20 73 62 01 or on 07 81 04 09 90.

Letters. From 2 p.m., town hall square, Christmas market organized by the festival committee and the parents' association. At 6 p.m.: arrival of Santa Claus, lighting of the big tree, distribution of treatsactivities for children, mulled wine, hot chocolate, Christmas beer, coffee, pancakes, tartiflette.

Chapelle-Voland. From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. under the large hangar of the rural center. Around twenty exhibitors. Various activities are also planned: carriage rides for children, raffle, visit from Santa Claus at 4:30 p.m. On site, catering, mulled wine. Organized by the local association EDL (Ensemble des liens).

Clairvaux-les-Lacs. At the village hall from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. With 20 exhibitors. Activities offered by associations, presence of Santa Claus. Organized by the town hall.

Cousance. From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. 25 exhibitors. Mascot parade at different times. Around 5 p.m.: musical entertainment by Two Vivémspony rides with the Lodge. 100% winning raffle. Refreshments, snacks, sales of dishes in advance to be collected from the Christmas market prepared by two restaurants in Cousance. Organized by Les petits montagnards.

Les Bouchoux. From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the village hall. Creative artisan market premises (Made in Jura), snacks (sale of crepes/sandwiches) and refreshment bar. Animation with the arrival of Santa Claus in a team of sled dogs Nordik Jura and lighting of the tree (with fireworks if the weather is cooperative) by Sky Fall.

Mignovillard. At the village hall. A dozen exhibitors will be present for the craft market. Numerous activities throughout the day (face painting, storytelling, horse-drawn carriage, visit from Santa Claus, etc.), raffle, snacks. Morbiflette on site or to take away. Aperitif concert from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Moirans-en-Montagne. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the courtyard of Roger-Millet school. Makeup, refreshments, treats. Organized by Tom Thumb.

Nozeroy. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the nursing home. Sale of decorative and food items made by residents. The sale is for the benefit of the Yoline and Le Bel Âge association which finance the establishment's activity projects. On the program: small area for pancakes and hot apple juice, a raffle for the benefit of the same associations. There Lyre Andelotienne, Harmony of Andelot will present some musical pieces throughout the afternoon.

Saint-Aubin. In the village hall, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. At 4 p.m.: Santa Claus comes, the town hall offers pancakes, chestnuts, mulled wine. 40 exhibitors. Refreshment bar, catering, face painting, balloon sculpture. Organized by the rural center. Free.

Saint-Hymetière-sur-Valouse. Town Hall Square. From 4:30 p.m. Organized by Saint-Hym’anime. Free.

  • SUNDAY DECEMBER 8, 2024

Augisey. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the rural home. 20 exhibitors. Refreshment bar and meals on site. Raffle, children or family photos in a pretty Christmas setting.

Chamblay. To the Clairvans Residence. From 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Around twenty exhibitors. Small catering on site. Mulled wine, waffles. Free.

Champagnole. At the Oppidum. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with 50 exhibitors. Activities for children, refreshment bar, catering. Visit from Santa Claus from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Organized by the municipality. Free.

Chaumergy. From 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Raffle, refreshment bar, visit from Santa Claus. Organized by theAssociation of artisans and traders of Chaumergy.

Desnes. At the village hall. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Moissey. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the cellar, courtyard, esplanade. Free.

Montbarrey. Salle Gavand, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 35 exhibitors. Pony rides, visit from Santa Claus. Presence of Santa's mailbox. Sale of fir trees. Organized by the Fouletots of the Chaux forest. Free.

Montrond. At the Moidons school. Carriage rides by reservation with the Grandvaux carriages. Presence of Santa Claus. Children's makeup. The school children's choir will perform. Presence of around ten exhibitors. Organized by the parents’ association “Un élan pour l’école”.

Salins-les-Bains. From 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. 40 exhibitors. Numerous free activities for visitors. Refreshment bar and snacks all day long. Local craftsmen, brass band, face painting, coming of Santa Claus, free entertainment for children. Organized by the Rural Family House, this Christmas market aims to raise funds for students. Free.
