This is a first. The Orange group has chosen to open a new agency in Lézignan-Corbières (hears).
This is the first French operator of telecommunications to choose to open an agency in this small town in the northeast of Aude.
Proximity sought after
After several weeks of work, the new store opened its doors in the so-called Gaujac area near Mc Donald's on the outskirts of the city center. The official inauguration took place on Thursday November 21, 2024.
The objective stated by this telecoms giant is to be closer to its customers.
“The presence of this new store allows Aude customers to no longer have to systematically go to Narbonne (hears) in the event of a problem with their telephones, their Internet access, or even their various contracts,” assures a regional manager of the group.
An assumed choice
“If we chose Lézignan to set up a store in Aude, it is because of its geographical location and its position centralebut also because we rely on a very dynamic economic zone. In our strategic development approach, Lézignan ticked all the boxes,” argued Marc Tanguy, regional director for Orange, in charge of relations with local authorities, interviewed by our colleagues atIndependent.
The regional manager also confirmed the end of the copper network for the beginning of 2027. Until then, numerous store openings will take place to always be as close as possible to our customers,” concluded the manager.
Orange Shop. Gaujac area. 2, rue Gustave-Eiffel at Lézignan-Corbières (hears). Closed Sunday and Monday. More information can be found here.
